Trip Overview

Our most popular and cost-effective trip, the Utah Classic adventure showcases some of the highlights of the southwestern United States. You will visit the very varied terrains of Bryce, Zion, Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and other state parks depending on the season. In addition to hiking and touring, you will have the opportunity to go kayaking and canyoneering, which entails rappelling off cliffs with the encouragement of trained guides and your fellow travelers. You will not believe the adventures and scenery that awaits you just a few hours out of Las Vegas.

Day 5

After meeting our bus in Las Vegas at noon, you will head for an afternoon adventure (either at Snow Canyon, Valley of Fire or Kanarra Falls).  Enjoy hiking, a picnic dinner and the desert scenery before settling into our comfortable homes.

Start the morning off with kayaking at Quail Creek before making our way to Zion National Park.  Hike the Emerald Pools trail (or Narrows in the summer) and if there's time, you'll catch an extra hike before sunset. Some women choose an optional horseback ride through Zion that can be arranged upon request.

You'll get an early start this morning as you make your way to Antelope Canyon. Enjoy a guided tour through the Lower Antelope Canyon, a gorgeous slot canyon on native Navajo land.  After lunch you'll hike to Horseshoe Bend, with the iconic Colorado river down below.

Our bus will climb to over 10,000 feet where you will visit Cedar Breaks National Monument. Appreciate the cooler temperatures and the unusual rock formations framed by fir, spruce and ancient bristecone pine trees. Then you'll make your way over to Bryce Canyon National park, known for its intriguing hoodoos. Hike the Navajo Queen's Garden loop. And if the season is right, enjoy a real rodeo before heading home.

Step out of your comfort zone and show your brave side as we go canyoneering in Lamb's Knoll, right outside of Zion. With our trained guides leading you, you'll rappel down cliffs while enjoying the gorgeous scenery.  Then it's time to head to Las Vegas for a farewell dinner before departing.
