Yellowstone

A spin-off of our popular Yellowstone trip, this tour has been specifically tailored ot the needs of frum, female healthcare providers. We condensed our 5 day Yellowstone trip into 4 days, knowing that many of you have weekend (Sunday) requirements. But don't worry, you'll get to experience all the highlights of our standard Yellowstone trip while also earning continuing education credits and networking with an amazing group of frum women who share your background and passion for healthcare.

Get ready to visit Yellowstone, the 1st national park ever created in the United States. It is known primarily for its geothermal wonders that include geysers, hot springs, fumaroles and mud pots. However, Yellowstone also encompasses vast forests, deep canyons, and the largest concentration of large mammals in the continental US. You will also visit Craters of the Moon National Monument, an otherworldly worldly volcanic landscape. Hike through some of the most varied terrain you have ever encountered, and enjoy adventure activities such as horse back riding and whitewater rafting.

In addition to the hiking and adventures, you will earn 16 continuing education credits (CE or CME) on a wide range of interesting and relevant topics, and networks with like-minded frum, female, healthcare professionals. Tentative topics include: lactation considerations in preemies, blood borne pathogens and workplace exposures, cultural considerations for hospice, abdominal pain differentials, EKG refresher, caring for the caregiver, STDs and PID in the community, wound and ostomy management, IT support for clinical decision making, suture workshop, managing burnout with mindfulness, and more!

Pricing for this trip is divided into 2 components, a  Conference Fee and the Yifei Nof Experience. This pricing structure allows you to submit the conference fee for reimbursement from your employer. While some employers will cover the entire cost of the program, some may prefer to pay only for the educational component. The Yifei Nof Experience cost varies whether you choose our very budget-friendly shared-room option, where you will sleep on a queen bed in a large room with multiple other participants, or whether you choose the private hotel room option (double or single occupancy). The Yifei Nof Experience cost includes lodging, transportation, food, activities and swag. Flights to and from the program are not included.

Day 2

Day 3

Day 4

Arrive in Bozeman around noon and meet your crew! We'll get your first CE lecture in on our way to our rafting adventure in Big Sky country.  After an exhilherating run on class III-IV rapids, we will make our way to our base in Island Park, Idaho, close to the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park!

Yellowstone! There is nothing like it! We will spend all day touring the country's first national park chock full of fascinating geothermal features and large wildlife. You will hike the grand canyon of Yellowstone, see erupting geysers and boiling hot pools, and we hope to be lucky enough to see bison and even bear. Before heading back to our home for the evening (and hands-on courses), we will take the opportunity to do some souvenir shopping in the quaint West Yellowstone.

We will start our day by horseback riding through the mountains of Montana, just outside Yellowstone National Park. Then we will head back into Yellowstone for another day of exploring this fascinating park. Boiling mud, colorful pools, roaring caves... and also scenic rivers, mountains and meadows.

We will leave our hotel early on the final morning of our trip to make sure we have ample time to visit Craters of the Moon National Monument, a bizarre and otherworldly volcanic landscape. Hike to the top of a cinder cone, carefully climb through lava tubes, and marvel at the bleak lava fields. Then back on the bus (with more lectures of course) as we head for our final dinner and departure from the Salt Lake City airport.
